Configuration of the routing, filtering, DHCP clients, protocol handling, and AAA.
Configuration of the IDS feature set,
site-to-site VPN.
Configuration
VPN Client-to-PIX® Firewall VPN.
Password management on the PIX® Firewall.
Upgrade management on
PIX® Firewall upgrade.
Configuration of the SNMP Network Management Station.
Configuration of a
secure connection to the PIX® Firewall using SSH.
Prerequisites:
CCNA® certification or the equivalent
working knowledge.
Basic network security and a
TCP/IP.
Encryption technologies: DES, 3DES, RSA, hashing algorithms (MD5/SHA),
and IPSec.
